We like to see a recurring something.
Perhaps we like it because it produces some
sort of predictability about whatever it is we 'like'.
Predictability about how others feel about whatever that is.
about how it will make you feel.
about what it will make you think.
We do it all the time.
Music is a recurring something.
It's a series of sounds, spaced across a certain
beats-per-minute.
The paths we take going to work.
The things that we eat, or never eat again.
The dreams we have every night, and the tides that rise and fall every day.
The earth orbiting around the sun, the earth spinning, pulling the moon towards it.
Tell me, what isn't a pattern?
What isn't a copy of something else?
What isn't that which it's made of?
What part of this makes any sense?
