Jesus Christ

Mark is a failure. As a matter of very apparent fact, Mark fails everyday.
In any sphere of life it seems.
Fear. That's an interesting idea.

Fear seems to drive our society.
The fear of others thinking you're ugly.
Or that you won't fit in.

So you wear 'their brand'.

However that is.

By their speech, you slightly mimic it. Or better even, you find that You speak so eloquently that others are trying to copy YOU. What an honor..

A river flowing, a raging river. The saved are swimming against, But the sinners are racing the lost.

They are so caught up in the moment of competition, so overwhelmed with the amount of speed they're beginning to gain. They look around while gasping for air and panting, and realize the trees are flying past them.
Excited, they pull and claw through the water, going faster, and faster. Past their opponents, up towards the front.
In a glimpse, people began to appear on the banks of the river. With loud shouts, and hands in the air, clapping, They were cheering.
"Yeah, come on!!!! You Got this!!!!"
Some even jumped in, and joined in with the competitors!
Some were barbecuing some steaks while they watched the racers zoom by, incredibly quickly.

The current, it seems, got a little competitive as well. Because it felt much faster than before.
The people on the banks are flying by so fast, that they're blurry. But their cheers are heard.
Even over the sound of the roaring river.

Oh my God, how good it feels to be recognized!!! I'm winning!

Each stroke of the water, the faster they go.

Looking up, they saw a beautiful mountain that quickly approaches them.
They saw what looked to be a party for them at the top!
Banners and lights, cheering and lots of GOOD DARK BEER on tap.
Burgers and garlic shrimp tacos. Sno-cones (the real deal with condensed milk on top, Oh my gosh).
There were screens showing the fastest racers in the current, stats and all.

"YES! I'm gonna get there first!! Last one there is a ROTTEN EGG!"

But then all those people flowed out of that river like salmon,
and down a waterfall.

It is quite a sight, every few seconds, another yell is heard.
Another cry for help. Another bloodcurdling scream that flies down a deep chasm, and thumps somewhere at the bottom.

.......................................................................................................................

But the farther up the saved do swim, the easier it gets for them.
Some will be smacked and bruised, killed perhaps.

But they find still waters, and they live.

This happens every 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Jesus is the only answer.
don't believe the lies.
