Was Snowpiercer a good film?

There's a lot of factors we think about when we judge films we see.
Whatever those factors are, Snowpiercer was a downer. And i don't mean just like, "aww that kinda sucked."
I mean, you're getting married to a beautiful person, you take them on the honeymoon, and then you find them sleeping with people on the cruise ship. It goes all the way up to the captain. You don't know what to do anymore. You were in love. And this is how you're treated?
And then you find out your new spouse is actually an alien. And the entire cruise liner is actually a mother ship. Then you find yourself on a distant planet, cleaning up alien feces from public alien bathrooms, with your alien spouse nowhere to be found.

That kind of downer. The kind that leaves your mouth gaping in disbelief. The sort of waste of time that makes you realize how numb your ass is after wasted hours of staring at a screen.

Ridiculous. This is the last time i ever trust 'ratings'. I'm going to stick to my favorite directors and watch the crappy movies at my friends' houses.
